About Phil Gemmell

Passionate about music from a young age, Phil was raised on an eclectic range of musical styles ranging from Classical, musical theatre, rock, pop and instrumental while discovering everything in between. 

After being in bands for most of his life and having a family of his own, Phil decided it was time to start sharing his knowledge and inspire the next generation of guitarists!

With a career in Business Banking and Account Management, Phil has developed transferable skills which support and enhance his ability in his music career and music tutoring.

Phil has worked in multiple musical formats such as acoustic singer/songwriter, rock and pop bands, orchestras and big bands.

This exposure has shaped and developed Phil's own approach to guitar as well as how he translates that knowledge into his tutoring.
